Default 1512 Diesel; What's it worth?

Hello all, I need some input from the community. I am considering selling it my 1512. I just had her torn down and rebuilt. It’s a 1985 1512 with the Kubota D600 diesel engine. It has the push blade in the front, 55” mowing deck with two cradles (ones for parts), wheel weights & chains, and the operating & maintenance manuals. Most everything works as it should. The items that don’t work are the hours meter reads 855 but doesn’t work (and hasn’t worked for the last two years), volt meter (because it has an Amp meter in its place), and it needs a new O-ring on one of the hydraulic lines. It hasn’t been used much in the last 7 years since I’ve owned it. I’ve known this tractor since 1992. Before I owned it, my friend used it to cut grass on his farm and plow the driveway during the winter. I am tossing the idea around of selling it because I no longer need it. Please me know what the value of this would be. Thank you. Jon

I would think it is worth around the $1000 to $1500 range depending on the condition of it without the blade. Is the blade a power angle?

There ain't no 55" decks. Must be a 50"er.
Value? If I was interested in it, I'd say that $500 range. That would be top dolla.
But seeing your so far away, Oaks guesstamets would prolly be closer.

In my neighborhood of upstate NY, they are asking $1500 - $2500 and no sale. Tractors in the $1000 - $1200 range will sell.

yes. Has the angle blade. PTO works well, no issues. Cooling system has been gone though to include new water pump & radiator. Mechanically, it's almost perfect. The mower deck still has fresh paint on it. It hasn't been since it was rebuilt. Thanks for the input, everyone!

Just curious, where did you get a new radiator?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
