And with this big idea V2V it will give the government another way of knowing every move you're making by tracking you. If they want to add something they should put something in the car where I can talk to the dip stick that darn near hit me while on her cell phone. Now that would be my big deal. Just leave me to myself and everything will be fine.

I'm just worried about this "smart" car that will stop automatically because you weren't paying attention ahead. What about the idiot who doesn't drive a "smart" car behind you who also isn't paying attention?
In other words.... is smart cars compatible with manual cars in the highway network?

Like I said there's a lot of potential but it will take a while. If all vehicles had these systems there wouldn't be any car accidents, because you would have a complete picture of all other cars around you and what they're doing, and the ability to make millisecond decisions. There's always going to be resistance to change, some people still have flip phones and that's fine, works for them, but the vast majority has moved on. It will be the same with cars. |

This should be fun to watch, my cars computer crashed and that's why I wrecked. Lawyers are going to have a field day with this. Hell GM can't even build a decent ignition switch.

Definitely opens up that possibility, one could transmit fake data and cause your car to come to a sudden stop. Could be life threatening.

Well here's something else to think about. Now GM is wanting to be like John Deere in saying you don't actually own car. You are buying a Liscense to use the software and any altering of it can result in a lawsuit! I think it's all a bunch of bs!

It seems that our government has the need to find a "cure" for everydamnthing.
Make these people put their #*@$!^& phones down, and eliminate 25% of the accidents that occur on our nations highways. No matter what your opinion is, GET INVOLVED, write your congressman and tell him/her what you think. They aren't going to make the changes that we want until we make them do it. Until we the people get involved, the only work they are going to do is for their own re-election.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
