Agreed it looks amazing. My 71 isn't even close to the mowing stage. Some of it is under the shelf. Some is on the shelf. Heck I'm pretty sure there is a few pieces in my living room

My IH Cub Cadet 70 (Project Uncle Dick) plowing at a plow day.

It had around 5 hours after it was a major rebuild.

My 100 getting ready to go to a show.

I have showing boards and working boards for the carry-all.
Work Boards on 70

My Wife of 33 years plowing with the 100

This one has been in the family since 1976.. it's a 1974 1450.. I grew up on it. It is still serving in the line of duty.. It is the only machine that has mowed moms grass for the last 40 years!! It has always been maintained mechanically but we decided to give her a facelift several years ago!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
