Default LED Headlights for 1872?

Yesterday I mowed with my 1872 until after it was dark and I have a problem with that. Only the right headlight works, and it isn't too bright anyways. I want to know where I can get replacement lightbulbs that will fit the 1872 and if possible, maybe LEDS. My dad brought up putting LEDs in it and I thought it sounded like a really neat idea. Are there any LEDs I can get that will fit right into the 1872 and still be the normal round shape?

Last time I looked LED replacements were insanely expensive.

Edit : still are .

LED seems a lot less appealing when it costs $110 for two LEDs and $20 for two regulars.

You can get the factory style bulbs at any auto parts store. At least here in WI you can...

Should be able to get bulbs at most hardware stores. I have a True value store and we sell them for $9.99.

Ya'll must be doing things that I never experience to need good lights on you CC. If I ever have to reach for the light switch the "Cocktail" light comes on in my head and I head to the barn. I guess blowing snow might be a night thing but mowing?

I have never used any of my cubs with the lights on, but they all work just like all things working.

Default tractor lights

Trilliant 36 led tractor bulb will fit right in the holder for the regular bulb.

Super bright and low amperage. Can usually find them at a cheap price on the internet.

Fit right in a 782

Joe

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
