Easiest part I make and one of my favorite machines
Here is a short vid of a simple part I make.

Ever wondered how much $ you'd have if you had just a $.01 for every time that turret has indexed? Smooth running machine to be as old as it is.

Reminds me of "screw machines" run on cams, making various small parts.
most are replaced in today's world by cnc stuff. Somehow being old skool, I like really old stuff. I remember when we opened our "state of the art" machine shop in high school, we had 2 round arm Bridgeports, and 11 power feed/ quick change lathes. That was 55 years ago. It seems like yesterday

Nice machine Terry! It's great to see older machinery still at work.
I like to run vintage stuff also but my lathe is ancient compared to yours. Mine is a 1942 war model South Bend! Thanks for sharing with us!

I could put that to good use. I would rather have an HLV-H with all the goodies though. Threading is kind of fun with an HLV-H. I've never had the chance to run the old greats like turrets, screw machines, shapers, Burgmasters and haven't spent much time on horizontal mills.
