Did you check for loose or frayed wires? You could probably find a video on YouTube about how to use a test light. That would be the best way to find your problem.

On my 1620, ( same lt basically ) I have to pull the motion lever "in" toward the seat. The lawn tractor starts then. I did bypass that seat safety switch.

I would try moving your drive lever. Sometimes they don't go into neutral, move it to reverse and back and see if that works. I would also check the wires aren't loose or frayed.
