Default For My Son

Hello Gentelmen!!

On Friday, my oldest got up from the couch and felt dizzy,He grabbed hold of the laundry sink but fell, hit his head, and got knocked out. When he went out, he had a seizure. My wife and I are hoping for the body stiffening and twitching, a person gets when knocked out, you ever seen a boxing or MMA fight where the guy gets knocked out and stiffens and twitches a bit??

He checked out normal by the blood tests and cat scan at the hospital but is going to his doctors Monday for a full physical and to get recommended to a neurologist to check his brain further.

We seek your prayer that he would be Ok and not be limited in life for driving etc. He's 15 and his name is Justice.

Thanks,

Jason

Thanks Guys

Yes Diz there is nothing more miserable for me than when I can do nothing for one of my kids. I get angry, sad, and just a stinking wreck, LOL

Thanks,

Jason

Jason,

I will pray that this may be his last event, if it was a seizure .

I live in this world as we have my step daughter has this problem.

used to take them about once a month, {Severe Grand mall type}

Every muscle in her body would lock up and no matter where she was standing , fell over like a tree. Very fortunate she didn't hit her head on a corner or something that may have broken her neck , She is 43 now and they started when she was 6.

For three years now she hasn't had one but only when she takes her medication on time every day.

I have done a lot of research on seizures It may only happen once in a lifetime, The information also stated that everyone will in their lifetime will have some type of a seizure whether it will be a loss of train in thought or speaking, To the "Grand Mall" with the violent thrashing, and possibility of loosing control of bladder.

I will give you the proper procedure to handle this if it happens again.

1,
Hold patient away from any objects like tables or anything they can hit head arms legs, do not try to stop all movement but wait until the movement stops.usually only a minute at the most ,but seems like an eternity.

2,
Then you take an arm place it long ways vertical above the head ,

3,
Roll the victim on side so head is resting pointing down, this lets the tongue fall away from back of throat {less chance of swallowing it , And opens the airway} and helps elimination of the regurgitation that frequently follows a Grand mall.

4,
If episode lasts for more than a couple minutes call 911

Grogginess, confusion is a normal thing coming out of one ,but shouldn't last for more than a half hour.

Just to let you know, there is no way of knowing or a true diagnosis from a doctor unless they can see it in the screen as one is coming on.

My brother kept having passing out episodes ,He said and no one could find anything that caused them. one day we were doing a church opening with some gospel we played and he went down , I recognized it immediately.

He got the treatment he needed and still was allowed to drive as it was under control, he just had to stay off the road for the first 6 months till they knew for sure.

Email me if any questions.

Default Prayer

Your son and family will be in our prayers. No greatest talent given to us is the talent of prayer. Say a prayer for oldest son "Andy" who is 23. He has a tumor under one of his ribs. Scheduled for surgery in August. Right now he is in NY City working a summer internship through Ohio State. Graduates in Dec. 2009.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
