Default very good friend Howard

My very dear and oldest buddy Howard, who has been a dear friend since Aug. 17th 1979 is back in the hospital loaded with cancer and just can't pass away, his heart is just to strong. We have been praying that he would just give in snd let the lord take him home, but he's a fighter.
The guy has been a gear head all of his life, owning a 69 chevelle ss 396, 67 camaro 350 that we raced down in Kaukana and made king of the hill that weekend. He's had a real 1967 z28 camaro, that ended up going out on the world of wheels show.
There is no chance of a recovery, hasn't been for years.
But at this point we're just praying that he can let go and let the lord bring him to rest, where the pain will stop. His son Duston is ready for dad to take that last ride to heaven. So I thought with some extra prayers we maybe able to help.
Thanks

Todd,
Not easy to see a loved one suffer. He is hanging on for a reason, must be a good one! Sounds like you had some great times with him and his cars. Thanks for sharing Howard's story with us.
Deepest Regards
Chris, Cheryl and Family.

Thanks everyone, means a great deal.
I re-read what I wrote last night, I was rambling on pretty good, like you all would know what Kaukana is about. I t's the closest drag strip around here and in the summer months we would go down and race street stock. Well it would work in elimanation rounds, line up and the winner goes on to the next round.
We went though each round down to the last two, and Howard beat the guy with a hole shot. And ended up winning King of the Hill. The following weekend we got beat by a "girl" in the third roundthat was some funny stuff right there.
Anyway, thanks again, yeh this one sucks, to young of a guy, but it happens everyday to someone's family or friend, our turn I guess.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
