Default Member having surgery

Jay "SumBum" is having surgery on his neck. He'll have to lay out any further info but I'm sure he will appreciate our heartfelt concern and prayers.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. It means alot to me and my family to have people praying for my recovery.

I don't have a date yet for the surgery. I have a large disc herniation in my neck which is affecting the use of my left arm/shoulder and we are waiting for the insurance company to approve an artificial disk replacement. If they wont approve that procedure I'll either have to appeal their decision and wait or have 2 vertebrae in my neck fused. Either way, I'm not looking forward to it.

My wife had C4 and 5 I believe screwed together...had 85% of her spinal cord compressed and lost control of her arm and legs movement...Breathing was also affected...Doctor recommended using part of her hip instead of the PECK procedure since it isnt foreign and the body wouldnt reject it...Ask about that...She healed up fine and is back to doing too much gardening for me!!!! Good luck and prayers sent your way bud...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
