Default New from N Va

Name's Scott. Just picked up a CCModel 71 after my (2) year old Super Bronco fell apart. The Model 71 has been cutting about 3 acres worth of yard every week without issue.
Have been slowly "renewing" it between putting it to work.
Take a look so far.....cc3b.jpg

BEAUTIFUL tractor.
You'll find a wealth of information here, and some pretty good folks.

Default Thanks for the Welcome

I must admit I've been living in the garage. I can seem to get enough of working on the "new" cub. It is so straight forward and logical. I learned of OCC while searching for information on this tractor. Every time I googled any info OCC had the response I needed.
Thanks again.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
