If you have a clip on one end then you remove the clip, pull the guts out and repair it, if not it will need to be cut, repaired and rewelded.
EXACTLY!

We need to see a pic of this area:
It already looks welded to me.

Wish I could see the end where the rod comes out of the cylinder, they look like the cylinders on my Johnson FEL. I just replaced the seals on the bucket cylinders for the same reason about 8 months ago. Remove the push rod dust seal and there's a internal C ring just below it. Remove the C ring and pull the push rod out of the cylinder, the top support bushing will come out with the push rod so it will be easy to check for wear or damage. I took my push rod assembly (with dust seal) to my local Farm Supply parts counter and they matched up the O rings, Teflon O ring spacers and dust seal for my cylinder. I got enough part's to do all four cylinder's for about $25.00 since the lift cylinders were the same dia. It was allot easier than I thought it would be.....Good Luck

IF you replace the cylinder, replace both. Unless you can find a cylinder with the EXACT same bore and stroke, and mounting at the old one. If not, your loader won't work properly.

These people helped me source some cylinders that are very similar. Just check your measurements and call them, they have more then listed on the site.

Why can't you just take a picture of the end of the cylinder where the rod comes out? We are all trying to help you but you have done your best to make it impossible.

Indeed, you probably only need a piston seal.

Sorry it took so long could not reply on my kindle for some odd reason. The cylinders are welded and the back two are way bigger then the front two. Back two have no leaks. I found out napa does hoses and the front 4 hoses seem wet. That's where I am going to start. About 20 bucks to replace all 4 but there only 8-10 inchs long.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
