Default #1 International Harvester replacement tines.

I have been looking all over Google for the oem or acceptable other brands for replacement. My tiller blades look more like fish hooks than they do tiller blades. I have posted on a few facebook groups and so far only one person has offered the blades off his parts tiller but I’m waiting on a picture and price on his offer. I’ve looked using parts numbers and even found a Troybuilt blade that says it’s a direct replacement but of they are out of stock as well. IHCCW has used parts but it appears that he’s selling them in pares for $36, I need 24 blades so $939 to replace the set, I don’t have that and would prefer to buy off amazon at around $60 for a set of 12 x2! But I’m having just as much difficulty going that way as every one I’ve found so far was either only 12” long and I need 14” replacements. If anyone has any knowledge about a brand or company has blades that would work please share!

Your math is wrong, that would be $48 a tine

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
