You should be able to get the engine working well again. Clinton motors are great IMO. Dad's got one on an old Sterns reel push mower.

Nice job on the boots.

All I find in Illinois is overpriced junk! (Or nice stuff, but still overpriced!)

You need a Mott for the front of a cub. Think you can fab that one up?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
