You guys are good, no great. QA = Quick Attach

Sure looks (on paper anyway) like a good fit to me. Blade and frame are in excellent shape. A blast 'n paint'll do the trick.

Why in the heck do my three grandsons stand in line waiting for "their Cubbies"?
They think Pop-pop is made out of moola?

Here's a pic of the plow and frame I'm picking up this weekend.

I did order a lifting lug for the height indicator on the Hyd CCC 1641.

Doesn't look too bad, 54" blade'll work on my gravel driveways. Grandsons needed something to do.

Looks like the right blade for a 1641.

Sure! I "think" all'll be well. We "needed" the blade. Boys'll be boys ya know!

PTO from Lew is on the Cub, works great. Now all I need to do is finish the deck, ready or not for mowin'.

Ordered a lift link for the blade ass'y, P/N 719-3093. Guessin' again, the plastic pointer will just pop off then bolt on the lift link/combo pointer?

Where did you order the lift part 719-3093 from? it shows as NLA from Cub.

Yes you pull the plastic indicator off and replace it with the lift bracket.

Man you got lucky, don't think I've seen one of those for sale in ages let alone an NOS one.

Have been looking for a couple of weeks. Found one local, used, offered $50 but seller won't budge off $75. I don't do much on eBay but, part is priced OK and looks good. The boys need it too.

The 54" blade and hanger look good but, a bit of sandblasting and new paint'll do the trick. Boys need chores.

Found a 42" blade and hanger, looked great but was twice what I'm payin' for the 54" setup. Still needed 719-3093 hyd lift bracket too.

Boys are proud. They compounded and waxed the plastic hood, side panels, and front grill panel. Boys'll be boys! Cleaned and waxed the rims, tire brite on the rubber. Boys'll be boys!

One of the blade skids is missing. I can easily find one, or two, but, thought I would have the boys make a couple. I'll MIG the bolts as shown in the little drawing I made. Simple enough, drill center hole, insert carriage bolt, weld.

Going to blast and paint the plow.

Any ideas where I can pick up IH decals for the plow ass'y?

Arrived today, the lift lug or whatchamacallit. Installed easy enough.
Saved the plastic in case someone needs it. What for? I dunno?

Went for the 54" blade, sold.

Found a 42" blade and frame in very nice condition, $100. The gentleman who had the plow only has 27 Cub Cadets.
Wife (his) told us he spends too much time in the barn. I think the forum can relate!

Some black rust whatchamacallit and ready to go for a spin! Tim's claiming first shot, I mean plow!

Blade and frame will be repainted come spring, for now black'll do. Six inches of white junque last night. We'll
give this new "toy" its first workout.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
