I think offering stuff to others is better than scrapping. Though I'm afraid I've scrapped some parts that I think I'll never use. Only so much room for stuff.

There is a guy in PA (I think) named Patton and he is a CC parts seller...he's not opposed to trades for things. You might be able to trade him for something.. or find someone like him.

The way I see it is since you a couple spare parts. That means you need a tractor to match those parts

Oh gee, I'm about half way gone, I don't think that's too far gone, but gone is it, done, no more. Not gone is juuuust the opposite. Not gone is here, now, sober, and bushy tailed. However, it's just all in the perception... conception for that matter. We all look alike and some snow blades don't have a very good latch mechanism. But I think cub did alright. You'll just have to accept that some rabbits truly do out run the fox, cuz like the tail goes, a rabbit may be slow, but the turtle always wins the girl.

Good night everybody!

Oh no....I have no more space and even less time. I have passed on some really good deals on complete running cubs for around $50 for that fact alone. The parts are still good, usable parts, but cost prohibitive to send them to the Sponsors or to pay a welder. I have several friends who are welders, but they have bigger and better things to do and I don't want to ask them to mess with them. My only hesitation is I have gotten rid of things in the past only to find that I really need them in the unforeseen future and then it costs me more to get replacements. They will hopefully find a new home. I thought I would ask to see if others wrestled with this same notion as I have...must be the collector in us all!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
