Default Can y'all help me identify this?

A local auction listed this image. Does anyone know what model this is? Might be worth my time to go bid on it.

Looks like a 102/122 with a 36" cast deck to me.

Thank you Gompers! That would make it a narrow frame, right? I restored a 147 a few years back and I still love it. This might make a decent project tractor.

Yup it's definitely a narrow frame, and it's definitely in the 1x2/3 series of tractors. Can't tell by the sticker if it's the 12 horse or 10 horse model, but it's one of those two more than likely. It's also very common to have different engines in them than they originally had, so it could have started life as a 122 and ended up as a 102 and vice-versa.

This one won't have the quick attach system that was introduced in the 1x4/5 series, so you'll be a bit more limited in accessories, but they are still great tractors.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
