Buy an additional axle/spindles for when they snap.

My take on this, Your tractor do what pleases you. Just because it is a 126 does not mean it is any thing special. I have a 1650 with a loader and it has proven to be one of the handiest things I have bought in years. The wife uses it almost daily when she is gardening and I use it to lift and move stuff all of the time. When cleaning mowed decks I just lift them up and move it to the power washer. I say go for it. If it was not for the wife I would move the loader to a stick shift tractor as many times you need three hands to operate the steering, loader, and hydro lever. I guess I need to add a foot control to the hydro. If you do put a loader on it I would consider adding a later model axle with 1 inch spindles, but you could also wait and see. You may never have an issue depending on how you use it.
Here is a picture to get the juices flowing. It is a 147 but looks the same as your 126 would with a Danco loader. Thought I should note that before someone corrects me.

My loader is on a Hydrostatic Ford with foot controls... its better than a hand controlled hydro but I want to move it onto another Ford with a manual transaxle.

I doubt you would break a spindle if you stayed within the weight recommendations of the manufacturer... my Johnson is rated at 350 lbs

That is a picture I found on the net. It is not mine. I just posted it for the OP to show him what his 126 would look like with a Danco loader.

Here is a picture of my 1650 with Kwik-Way loader. I have added power steering, super steer front axle with 4 bolt trailer hubs and 18-8.50X8 tires, 26-12X12 tru powers and rims from a super on the rear.

Well that one looks awesome as well. Before I had an OCC account, I had no idea you could put a loader on these smaller units. I love it though. Theres a cub O for sale in Tennessee (I'm in Alabama) with a RD1000 loader on it. He wants $2000 for it. Thats a bit out of my price range. I've got a 126 just like the OP, so this caught my eye.

I wouldnt put a loader on an O... they already have frame issues without alot of added weight.

Lance, you're obviously not very familiar with the IH Cub Cadet garden tractor. Loaders are popular on Originals.

I could not agree more, how handy a loader could be.

All the front weight is focused on the front axle pivot pin. Has nothing to do whether you have an 11" narrow frame or a 14" wide frame up front of your garden tractor. Where the loader mounts in the middle-underside of the tractor frame, they all appear to be the same frame width in this area.

Just be careful of what you read. There is no reason in God's green earth a narrow frame IH Cub Cadet would not be a good unit. But, I'd use a hydro drive myself, but all-gear is fine too. No reason to rush out and purchase an expensive sub-compact tractor just to have fun with.

There are all kinds of narrow frame with loaders! Who's crying foul? Let's see some real-world facts that discredits what's been done since 1961. See list of approved IH Cub Cadet Allied Equipment.
Lance, please read above post.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
