Parts pile is growing slowly
Well I keep finding a few items here and there for my 169.. I will have a small fortune in this thing when I am done!
Here is what I have gathered so far... still looking for a better muffler elbow.. this one has a crack The only thing I have really blown the budget on so far is the muffler but I figured i'd never find a used muffler The part that I thought would be the hardest was actually the easiest... and I have an NOS one that isn't in the picture! The muffler shield! Been fun so far hunting though! Now if I could just find the time to work on the darn thing!!

https://www.ihccw.com/engineparts.ht...product_id=529 You have that problem too?? I've got shelves full of parts I've been "rounding up" for projects that I haven't gotten to. Gear drive rear PTO's, (yes, plural) Kubota Diesel and several engines, arm rests for seats, another Cozy Cab..... Thinking about all them makes me tired.... |

I've been really tempted to pull the trigger on that exhaust elbow... guess i'm being a cheap ass and holding out for now though!! So far my only big spend has been the muffler... IHCCW had them marked down about $50 bucks from normal so I pulled the trigger... still got buyers remorse though!

$$$$$$ It got's to be done, to get where you're going Jay.
Spend er' now Jay, and enjoy it. Then when you're gone, six feet under, there's no money left to fight over. There's no family that wants my tractors, but they'd want the money. "Surprise" there won't be none... Hey, good talking with you the other night. Have to do it again.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
