Default Clutch pedal return spring

The clutch pedal return spring is missing on my 106 and I'm looking for a replacement, can anyone tell me what size the spring is? I'd much rather buy a spring at Home Depot or TSC than buy a direct replacement + shipping. Here's one that I think might work for me.

So I'd need a 2/3" spring then, not a 4"

I looked it up on Cadets website. If I looked up the right part its only $7. Do you have a local Cadet dealer, if so they may order it for you for no freight charge with their next stock order. Got any other parts you need? I generally make a list of everything I need then call my favorite Cadet parts supplier and place a larger order. Yeah, I wouldn't want to pay $15 freight for one spring, but I don't want to drive all over town 2 or 3 times either searching for an inexpensive will fit part. Ordering the right thing may be your cheapest way out.

Great suggestions you guys, thank you very much. John hall I'm not sure if there is a local dealer near me and honestly never thought about it. I will find the closet dealer and keep them in mind for parts in the future

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
