It only needed a $.45 spring pin! It drives like a Cadillac!

It should have a spiral pin or a solid pin. That spring pin isn't gonna last long.

I agree. Which location did you replace? Engine or rear?

Yes! I agree it won't last. I was just so dang goned anxious to drive it,,,I just couldn't help myself. Searching for proper pin now. Access was a breeze, the old broken pin came right out( it was a spring pin too)..
Very excited! This tractor peels out, and pops a wheelie,,, not that I drive like that, I just heard it would ¥

Replaced the engine side pin. The end at hydro is all pretty fresh looking.

Congrats! The first time I drove my 169 I still hadn't put the grille or hood back on, and the speed lever was pretty sticky. I darn near went over backwards! And yes, if you're pointed downhill a little it'll spin the tires on concrete and leave black marks you have to apologize for...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
