Any Idea?
Any idea what this would fit? I found it local but the lady that has it has no idea of what it was on, the tractor is long gone and there is no tag on it that we can find.

That is a variation of the LT plow. Made to fit on a 76, 80 etc. The half moon cups at the end of the subframe are made to hook up to the round axle tubes of the peerless trans those models used.

The asking price is $150, it caught my eye because it was so clean, the claim is it was never mounted, been sitting in the shed for years.

Providing that the the only difference is the sub-frame, I would think a NOS blade, main frame, springs and other parts would be worth the money.
I also found a little more information here http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=c...&dn=0068250001

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
