Default Really enjoyed my first Cub Cadet road trip

To all -

Yes, Nick parted with a #2 cart from his amazing collection. And a pair of wheel weights and a snowplow. My daughter and I drove from New Bern, NC up to his place in NY last Friday, and left and came back home Saturday. Quick trip but very worth it. Made for a nice road trip! The cart is for a 71 Cub I am having restored for my smaller children. They love it!

I appreciated all the hospitality shown by Nick and his family. They really are true Cub fans and have an awesome collection. They treated us to dinner and a great tour. Very good friends now and looking forward to seeing them on future trips. Glad to maybe have logged the most miles on a trip!

Thank you Randy, that was very nice of you and it was very much appreciated, we all had a good time, and the most miles for a cart and a couple attachments.

This is what OCC and our hobby is all about. Meeting up with guys/gals who have the same passion about CC's. Glad to hear everything went good.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
