Do you have any pictures of that? How did it hold up? I got this blade for a decent price already had new hoses made etc. and any power angles Haban or not don’t really come around often so I think I’m going to see if I can get this to work.

Yes it is.
But if you did that to the 1872 it would be 300lbs heavier than yours, plus add a Fatty Arbuckle and your 1811 with your little man body will not compare.heheheheh

I would look for a Haban blade for that 1872.

If you are directing your post to me ??? Then the pictures are in post# 6. It has worked very well for the past 3 years. I spread out a pile of dirt for planting last week just before pulling the blade off and installing a 50" deck for mowing.

Do you have access to a Haban blade near you that you can copy to fab up an undercarriage for your blade? If you can cut and weld, go for it.

I'll raise you an 800# Cub 3240 with 70# cast wheel weights, filled tires, weight rack with five 42# suitcase weights, a full steel Sims cab and a 300# operator. Gotta add the 54" blade, hitch 2 hydro circuits weight to that too.

How does that compare??? That be about 1900# with the blade or about 2100# with the snow blower. It was probably too heavy if that's possible.

It's the best plow GT I've ever used and unstoppable with the snow blower too. Next year I'm gonna have one tractor set-up with a blade and another other with the cab and snow blower combo.

800 tractor
140 w.w.
210 s.w
100 fluid (assuming not CaCl2)
300 operator
120 cab
25 misc weight

I get 1695 pounds.

Blade probably 95# 100# at most
Blower probably 150/160

Still not 1900# with the blower. I think your numbers are a bit off.

The all Sims steel ext cab and doors is easily over 300#. the quick hitch and hydraulics are about 90# I'd guess the blade at 70#, the front tires are filled and the blower goes about 250# I believe, it's a tank. I probably go 320# in reality too.

I've got a steel cab. They aren't 300#. I can pick it up.

Blowers aren't 250. I want to see a stamped scale ticket. I've been around way too many tractors. An IH 284's weight is 2050 without ballast. It's way bigger than your set up.

The standard length 3000 series Sims cab is 294# with soft doors. Mine is longer, has 2 more windows and steel doors with glass.

Read the sales flyer pdf link in the link listed below.

https://www.cabdepot.com/documentati.../Sales%20Flyer

Here's a link about the 353 blower weight. It's over 200# easy.

http://www.mytractorforum.com/19-cub...ow-blower.html

According to post #10 it weighs more the a 47" JD blower.

Even a smaller lighter duty 42" stamped 2 stage Agri-Fab snow blower weighs over 200#....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
