I need a "idle fuel inlet" for my #26 carb. Someone had previously tried to remove it from my carb and it was all jagged and messed up. I had to ues a easy out to get it out. Where can i get a new one? thanks

What model of Cub are your working on? The #26 model of Carb was used on many different models of tractors and had some variations.

Default 105

This carb is off a 105. I see one company sells it as a blank and has no holes in it. Mine has six holes in it.

this is a tricky question from what i have found out i guess your not suppose to remove these . I even had a guy tell me that he went to kohler school and was told there to not remove them because one of the sets of holes were drilled while in the carb ??? i ended up buying a fuel inlet and new needle from brian millers site http://************************.com/a1carb.htm At the time it was all i could find. I have built the carb but have not put it to use yet . The holes were not the same as the old inlet but he said with the new needle it was sure to work .
There may well be sponsors here or on another site that sell them also just at the time i was unaware of them .
hope this helps

I spoke to Brian Miller today and he said that it is a direct replacement. The way its drilled works better with todays gas. he said just screw it in all the way and your all set. I am gonna give it a try !!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
