Long lost pic's.
Cell phones with cameras didn't exist when I was younger and I didn't carry a camera around so I only had a couple pics of my old cars, until today when these were found in a box. First up is my 86 Monte Carlo, it was my first car and that is my wife and I on our way to prom, we were 17. Up next is my 77 Cutlass, it was nice but needed restored and I never got around to it and sold it off to someone else. Last but not least is my 79 Delta 88. You might think I'm crazy but I love the body style of the 77-79 Delta's and I plan to buy another one someday and make it look like my old one. It was painted dark blue and had an olds 455 in it that my dad and i built. It's always bummed me out that i didn't have any pics of the Delta and couldn't believe my eyes today when i saw these.

Very cool. I like the big G body cars too. You've had a nice selection there. I had a 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix that had the Hurst anniversary addition package on it. Two tone gold, T tops, 400 V8, 400 automatic on the floor, and a 2.72 rear. 55 mph in first gear before it would shift on a full throttle accel.
I had it to 135 mph once and it was still pulling when I chickened out. Fast car!

Nice pics Tim...glad you found them! Nice to see your romance has endured! I loved the Olds Deltas from the 70s as well. My favs were the 71-73. I had a '77 Delta with a 403 that would out run dad's '77 Chrysler any day. My sister's and I ran the hell out of those 88s until dad caught us. OOOPS...was he pissed. I think the snappiest Olds we had was the '65 Jetstar.
Oh, BTW, glad you didn't have one of those gaudy tuxes or some wierd assed hair cuts! DeltaCub

Hell yeah, my 1st car was an '86 Monte Carlo. Mine was a CL, 2 tone blue, with a 305, OD, gauges, sunroof and super plush cruiser seats. I have a pic somewhere.

I keep looking at this one thats for sale locally. It was in storage for a long time and only has 20,000 miles on it and they are giving it away $3,500. If i wasn't in the middle of buying a house it would be in my driveway.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
