Disk question

Are the disks meant to have the dish facing inwards?

Front gangs face outward, rear gangs face inward.
In other words,
The front gangs throw the dirt outward.
The rear gangs pull it back in, and are a bit wider.

Now it has 1 facing in and 1 out

ok single gang disk, never used something that small.
I would think they should be set so they either pull the dirt in or out,
depending on your choice.
Hope they are adjustable.

Ok that northern tool shows the middle forward and back
I think I had it forward but put it together in the back ,and it worked different
Oh well its too wet to plow right anyway

I'm no expert on disk harrows.....but it seems to me these disks are mounted cup side forward. In other words, concave side forward. As if when moving forward, the cup scoops up the dirt. Am I correct?

if you move over one half of a gang width each pass.
