Lost pictures in my threads
Just noticed, some pictures that I had in a few threads are gone. Seems the ones I uploaded directly through OCC are there, but others through a "host" are gone.
Is it just on my end, or others unable to view them as well? Last night went back to find pictures of my tangled up 2372 (1872) driveline, and they are gone. Any suggestions? Thanks

I just looked at that thread and they are gone. I think it has to do with the hosting site. Me not smart enough to do the hosting thing so I just load them up on here.

IF......the hosting site was Photobucket, then that is how they handle it now. It use to be a popup stating an error, now nothing.

I used to use Photobucket, until they changed their policy about 3rd party hosting. Wanted to charge an arm and a leg annually. I went with them initially because they were free. No free-bie; no use-ie.
I'm on another tractor site where I had hundreds of pictures now with broken connections. Fortunately, I still had the pics of most and have been direct attaching instead of 3rd party hosting. Got most of them reattached. I said goodbye to Photobucket. Won't be caught in that situation again. Any site offering free hosting today can change their policy tomorrow and leave you in the lurch. |

There are many pictures posted here that were hosted at photobucket and also "postimg.org" that we can no longer see.
It requires the poster to reload them onto this site or another free hosting site. |

Yeah, it was postimg.org that I went through. S.O.B.

Zippy do you not store them on your puter?
I download mine to my puter then as a backup I copy them on a flash drive.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
