An 1812!!!
Saw a posting local to me on Craigslist. No deck. Has a blower. And 3 point!!!! Can't afford much right now, but could not afford to let this one get away.
To any of you who were also after it, I feel for you. Hard find the good deals anymore. It starts, does not smoke, and rearend is solid!!! 450 blower belted up and still in use. Starter was not smooth, but it starts on own power. Did I mention 3 point? And the arms and everything are all there! Dual hydralics with front ports. Yeah baby!!! Bolens wheel weights. Not sure what they weigh or how you tell? They look more substantial than cub weights. Got the manuals and original sales receipt also. Lew will certainly approve of this deal. Absolutely stole it for the man's asking price of 2 Benjamins. I know I suck!!!!

Even the drift cutters! Nice find...it’s like a free 1812 with a discount 450 blower. I’m trying to find one myself, I already have the 1812.

Good deal Steve, it was too far for me, those bolens weights are 55 lbs each, well worth the purchase price.

Dang Steve!
You got a deal for sure! Those Bolens weights are around 50-55 lbs each.. I have several sets but can't remember for sure. One set I took body filler and covered up the Bolens logo so I didn't get so many questions! We don't scare em up like that anymore around here! Congrats on the deal!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
