North east snow storm!
We are supposed to get 10-15" of snow in my area, just got 6 on sat night and Sunday. Thank GOD, the weather decided to hold off with this schiff until we got in the new house! Am going out to start moving snow to make sure I have room for the fresh stuff and get it as close to drainage as I can so its got a head start to leaving in the spring time,(middle of June). Will see if I can get pics and or video of the action! Hope everyone getting snow has fun and stays safe!
This is the beginning of storm. Our school was closed as of 6pm last night, and the wife's boss lady called her this morning from the office and told her to stay home, she was just going to grab her laptop and they can work from home. Just seen the snowplow for first time since about 4am when they were out salting the roads. Sorry for sideways photo, if a mod can rotate it I would appreciate it greatly!

I got about a foot. My hydrolic lift pump crapped out on me, the return spring busted and broke a grear. Was idling as I jumped off to move something and I heard a pop and blade dropped

Seven inches here (halfway between Dirty Steve and Johns Cubs) in Horseheads NY. It took about an hour to plow out all my driveway then I loaded up the 2072 on the trailer and spent another 45 minutes over at my daughters house doing her driveway and sidewalks. If it weren't so cold, the seat time would have been more fun. The 2072 ran flawlessly as always. It's amazing what that tractor will push!

You guys keep that mess up there! Not to hurt feelings but I fired up the 149 with the tiller and worked the leaves and straw in yesterday. I will plant onions and peas next week.

We had about 3 or 4" of snow before it started raining here ( south of Allentown PA )
I used the 125 with the QA-42 and it actually threw the shlush pretty good. Only about 10' but that got it off the driveway so it won't freeze tonight. |

This thing pushes like a beast too! Looks like I might have lucked out with storm being over as my pump broke. 20180207_202122.jpg
Any one know of a parts source for the gears? The roll pin that holds gear on shaft broke too. So i am on the hunt for parts before the next one!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
