Nice collection.
I've always wanted one of those Nylint cranes to restore, but never got one. I have about 20 trucks ( Tonka, Ertl, Buddy L, Nylint, Structo) including one John Deere pedal tractor that I've restored.

Nice toy collection Beth! Mine are buried right now. Used to have them on display in my office at my shop. Now they are on the front porch. I'd like to get them back on display.
I like all the little #1 carts. Those are cool!
How'd that green one get in there? One more spot for a red one...............

LOL...One of my friends has a curio filled with those "green toys". He followed my lead with one token tractor. I have one "green" and he has one "red". Some people just have no account for taste!

A chic who is into cubs and has toys, NOW THAT'S HOT!!!! Great collection there Beth. Looks like you take great care of them. I'm sure each one has a story behind it, too. I missed this thread when you originally posted it, but I am glad that I caught it now! Thanks for sharing those pics...

The Nylint crane and dump truck are finished (crane essentially...needs exhaust stack and air cleaner...have the decals too). They are ready for work in the imaginary strip mines in the imaginary state of Ohio! I have had a great deal of fun restoring these old toys.

Sadly, I sold the real Jeepster some years back, But I have found four Tonka Jeepsters in the barn and have repainted three of them.

Just curious did j-mech put the whammy on your keyboard?

Aren't those Tonka? My crane never left the house, still looks great. My dumptruck was green with a "working" dump cylinder. After the 2nd time of getting a busted lip you learned not to lean across the bed to trip the latch. There were no frivolous lawsuits in the early 70's--we were just a tougher breed of kid.

Looks great Beth.
I've still got some of my Tonka's from my youth. They are up on a shelf in the shop, covered with dust...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
