My K-301 carb re-build went smooth as silk thanks to Matts tutorial. I would have never known about the bushing with out it. I ordered the bushing from the local dealer for $6, as well as a new float bowl. The rest of the parts were in stock. Ordering parts is always a bummer, But when I showed up friday to pick up my order the local cub dealer was having it's 30th anniversary open house party. All you can eat, full spread and prize drawings. To top off the free lunch factory reps from cub cadet were on hand giving out free cub hats and balloons for the kids! I never get lucky like that. Thanks again for your time and all the help Matt G.
The screw size for the throttle shaft butterfly is 3-48 and it would be nice if you could add the Kholer part# for the bushing, I had a couple made but the one I ordered came in before he got the homade ones done.
Can't wait too try it all out tomorrow!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
