I got my first train set about age 14 and it's been downhill from there. (Dad no longer works at Archbold farm supply he's at the turf & contractors building now.) I've seen the MR in Blissfield and there is a lot of talent and a lot of $$ in that building.
I did a video of it passing Britton elevator on Saturday going south, and returning in the evening, also Sunday in the evening in Belleville.
Steam is nice, I remember when they sill used them on regular runs.
I also road that same route as you in the late 70's on the J class 611.
They are going to restore her again, she is in the Virginia museum of transportation

I saw the 611 in Adrian when I was 10 when it came through in 94. I've been a fan ever since. It belongs to the VMT but it's currently in Spencer NC for a restoration. I can't wait to see it under steam again.

Bumping this thread because I did some scenery around the building, added a gravel parking(ish) lot, and straightened out the showroom roof because I wasn't happy with it the way it was.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
