Agree 100% with you Jon. Most people selling on Ebay are just plain lazy. They want top dollar for junk and you have to come and get it. Last 782 I bought I had to pay at end of auction, drive 3 1/2 one way and the a$$hol3 came the the door, said "there it is" and closed the door! Wouldn't even talk about it or help load. Sesh! Not my fault it sold for $18 over minimum bid.

I was supposed to go pick up a pop up camper for my motorcycle this weekend.... at the last minute the people called and said they couldn't find the title. I thanked them. I was driving 2 hours one way to get it! Glad they told me before I drove all the way there with a trailer to haul it home on! They are getting a new title. Deal is still on, so there are good people out there too. |

Knock on wood I have had good luck on eBay so far. I just bought a new $1200 motorcycle seat for my 1800 Goldwing for $177.50 from a very nice gentleman. It was the wrong color for my bike so I talked with the manufacture of the seat and the seller sent it there and I had the seat color changed and was sent on to me. After me paying for the color change and shipping from the seller to the manufacture and then on to me I still have less than half of what it would cost me from the manufacture. I am saying all this because I cant say enough good about this guy, he thanked me for bidding and wished me safe riding. There are good people on eBay.

I really like the sellers on ebay that proclaim "NO RESERVE".
Yet the bidding starts at a minimum $xxx |

I have over 500 purchases on evil pray and no problems other than an occasional shipping delay.
I do check sellers feedback, that helps alot. and if you do your homework/ask questions, no surprises. |

For the most part, that's all I use now too. I can't remember the last time I bid in an auction.

I'll side with George on this one, I have been a member of E-Bay since 2003 as a seller and buyer. I have made hundreds of transactions and have never had a conflict with any. As George suggest, do some homework on the seller before you buy. I too try to buy stuff with free shipping but sometimes it isn't possible. I contact the seller and try to make a deal with them. Most will deal, if they don't I keep looking for the item I want.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
