Stihl concrete saw
Got this thing dropped in my lap/ it is a TS350 "super"/
cylinder is scored, thing looks like it was dropped in a bath of fresh concrete and plucked out then not cleaned up..... I got a rebuild kit with a new crank, main bearings, cylinder assy, piston/rings, gaskets, seals and carb kit. One of them jobs I really didn't want to mess with if you know what I mean. I have absolutely NO service info on it, and have come up empty in my search. I don't work with that sort of machinery, so never had the need to see what one costs. I wanted to tell the owner to back up 50 yards and punt it towards the scrap pile and buy another until I found out how expensive they are to buy new. and what they command used (but run and pieced together with bubble gum and baling wire). Any idea how old this model is? what is the difference in the TS 350 and the TS350 "super" (which is what this unit is) I need torque specs and such.... if there are any available. and being as how the case (and gas tank) split into 2 halves joined by a gasket in between, what sealer (if any) should I use on that gasket? yes the parts are an aftermarket kit but supplied by the saw's owner.... so if it don't last that = "his problem".... I know that I am doing all I possibly can in the dismantle/reassemble to try and make it last.....

I think Stihl “supers” are just a bigger piston. Those old concrete saws can be pretty rough. If I remember right you can get a pre filter that fits over the paper air filter. Kind of a poor design on those saws that all the dust goes underneath of it and sucked right in the air cleaner again.
