Here is a picture of the issue with the rims that are currently on the cart. Both rims have this issue.

Rocky, do you have welding capabilities? If so, weld 'em up and drill another valve stem hole, like olds45512 suggested. Or find someone to weld it for you for a lot less cost than buying 2 new or used rims.
Just a suggestion... |

Unfortunately I do not. I'll get the holes welded up. When I drill the new holes what size hole should I have when I'm done?

Congrats on the find, and on the cost!
I love my #1 and work it harder than any other cart I own. I got mine free when I noticed it sticking out of a dumpster at a factory. Didn't know what it was at the time, but it looked nice and had an IH logo on it. I went into the main office and asked if I could have it and they said yes. They had used it for years to mix and haul cement for floor repairs and for whatever reason decided that they didn't need it anymore and tossed it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
