What thickness metal using? Where on tractor frame attaching, and how is underframe attached and what metal used for underframe. I'm planning on FEL for my 2182. Keep pictures coming.

The plans mostly called for 1/8" material, but I used 3/16 , I not sure what it will be used for in the future and wanted to make sure it would hold up. I used 1/4" on the base and the uprights.

I have to weld on cylinder mounts, and finish weld somethings. I ordered the cylinders, and a few odds and ends, paint, then finish assembly

I would highly recommend tying that subframe into the rearend. You will get some frame twist if you don't. I bought a GT with a loader last year and it wasn't tied into the rear end and it really twisted the frame bad.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
