My post was in a thread about a 1450 in the IH section, I did not start this thread, my guess is that Roland had something to do with it.

Can we make this thread about what type of oil to use in a splash lubricated engine??

Or, possibly about synthetic grease as compared to regular grease??

Use lard oil, smells like bacon so you'll get done mowing faster and not be late for super.

YES....it was me.

All I did was separate content from from an old thread in 2014, to a new thread. It was my understanding, that someone lodged a complaint to Sam. Since the complaint had NOTHING to do with the 2014 thread I separated them. This was MY doing, NOT Sam's.

Now, this thread can be easily deleted. It will take less than 10 seconds to do so. It really has nothing to do with Cub Cadets.

But where's the fun in that???

I'm a global mod at a dirt bike site and threads like these can be fun.

We could put it to a vote....my vote would be KEEP IT!!!! I'm smiling bigger than a barn cat that's cornered 3 mice every time I read it! It is not my go to thread whenever I need a giggle.

Heck, it kind of reminds me of my favorite comedy team, The Marx Brothers. Like when Groucho was explaining why they changed the name of their move from Cracked Ice to Duck Soup! There is no rhyme or reason to the posts and who cares if it pertains to cub cadets, after all it is in the General Talk session. I'm tired of being reasonable...….bring me my tap dance shoes, a vat of whipped cream, and twelve live weasels!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
