A D722 will fit directly in place of a D600 or a D640. Mount holes, flywheel, gear case cover, front crank pulley are all the same. Only difference may be oil filter location side to side on gear case cover, depending what its prior use was.

I put new fuel lines on it, borrowed an electric pump off of another machine and hooked up all the electrical stuff needed....no go. I know you're not supposed to touch the injectors but they were loose so somebody already messed around with them so I pulled them out(fuel was leaking from one) and blew them clean with air(prolly not supposed to do that either) and put them back in tight. I cranked it, cranked it and cranked it...won't start. Cracked open a beer, took a break and loosened the lines on top of the injectors to purge any air out and snugged them back up. Cranked it again and it runs, it runs good with no smoke and has great response on the throttle. BINGO! I then did the snoopy dance!
