Default U-Joint Drive Shaft Questions

For those who have performed the conversion from the standard drive shaft connections to one with at least one u-joint as Dave Kemp outlined, how do you like it? Any concerns? Wishes I would have done different? Positives about it?

Did you use the 6N series as he points out or has anyone used the smaller 4P series?

I am asking as I am working with a relative who has a unit of a different color where all the drive line parts are NLA so having to do some fabrication, but using Cub items for the majority of it. He named it "Cub For-det"

No idea, but the jd 318's run ujoints on both ends and don't really have problems.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
