Default Toasted 2084
I picked up a 2084 today. The first cut of the season, he pulled it from the shed and went inside to get something and went back out and it was on fire. He thinks there was a nest under the muffler shield. The engine was just rebuild the season before. He thinks it might be still good but I am not sure if it is.

I see 4 good wheels and tires, a nice seat, a good rear fender, a good front iron cast beam, I bet the tranny, hydraulic valves, power steering and cylinders are good too so if you got it for a "Very Lew" price you already have a score!

I hope you get lucky and the engine was salvageable!

I also got a nice 60" Haban. I am going to start parting this next weekend. Everything you said is good, but maybe the steering components. The cylinder got warm and it got hot where the steering valve is located. I also got all the parts he started buying to fix it. I will keep some of those and sell some. The rear is in great shape. It does not look like it was leaking anywhere.
