Don't have a PDF do you Lew? I don't have a copy of Section G.

Any idea what year this one is? Or where the date may be?

Congrats on the sweeper Jon.
Now, take the Mrs. out for supper to a nice fast food joint. You at least owe her that...
Oh, and as Sam said. "You suck".

Thanks guys!

Yes, I definitely owe the wife Micky D's, lol. Maybe we can go out this weekend.

Lew, I need to just get a paper copy of the CPE book anyway. I'll check the trusty Ebay. Thanks for the info!

Awesome score Jonathan! Definitely can't beat free! I recently picked up a CPE catalog...was well worth the money.

Don't want to get off track but I HATE black walnut trees! Wife and I had two 200 plus year olds taken out this summer. We still probably have a dozen or more around the place.

Didn't figure we'd be talking about lawn sweepers since the title of the thread is I scored today. Second thought was, this is absolutely not the place to post something of this content... It belongs in general talk

However, now that I see what your referring to, a congratulations and you suck is in order. Stay classy my friend, glad you found an awesome deal!

Thanks Martin!
A CPE 2 catalog is on my radar. Found a couple for sale. I'll buy it soon. I pretty much spent my allotment in the budget for stuff this month. Between some engine mounts for a D600, a new set of tri-ribs for the 1050 and motorcycle repairs, I'm done.

That walnut tree was HUGE! Not many left that big around here, except in the woods maybe. We used to have tons of them, but I'd say most have died out, or been logged, or just cut down due them being irritating. My granddad on my mom's side used to go gather bushel baskets of them and crack them. Grandma used them for deserts, and granddad ate them. He gave a lot away. Seems people don't eat them like they used to.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
