Did a little plowing yesterday, not my best. I like the GT hitches better than the SGT for plowing. Watch how the hitch slams over to the left side of the tractor when the plow sinks in. Is it set up wrong? I like how the GT hitches have the chains you can tighten to keep the hitch from swaying around.

Man that engine is running rich. I need to get that fixed someday or change the carb out.

Looks like it's plowing ok to me but I'm no expert. Thanks for the video. Looks pretty good to me Todd!

Does your tractor have the guides on the inside of the lift arms? They take the place of the chains on the SGT. If they are there they should help keep the lift arms centered. It is normal for the plow to pull a little to one side.

Looks like you were rolling some pretty good dirt though!!

Winter is coming. I've been haphazardly looking for a blade for my 1641. I went to look at one the guy claims to fit a wide frame. Upon arrival Im quite surpised to see a blade with IH decal, and curved mounting arms. He was asking $50, I couldn't load it fast enough. Sometimes I forget I have an O stuffed in the back of the garage. Looks like its time to get it out!

I took the 48 inch GT decks off the 1863 and 1641 this morning. I'll scrape the underside, pressure wash, sharpen blades , grease and put them in the shed for winter. One of these is the one I painted this spring, I can see some places on the underside where the paint is all gone.

Did the last cut the other day with the 2264. Gonna give it an oil change, park it for the winter and drain the gas out of it. Will do the same for the other yard equipment. Put the chains on the BX now all I need to do is put the plow on.

Because Cat0 hitches are extremely expensive, and I already have the sleeve hitch and implements, I'm working on fitting an older wide frame sleeve hitch lift setup into my 2284 to use my sleeve hitch implements on it. After a few different ideas, this is the one I settled on. I made my own lift arm, and bent it exactly that same as the original one. Drilled 5/8" holes in the sides of the rear hitch plate and installed the rock shaft. This was tricky to assemble because of the lift stop arm on one side. It all has to be assembled to slide into the back of the tractor because there's no room to get in behind the hitch plate to hook it all up. I also made a sleeve hitch mount for the sleeve hitch I have to mount to it. It's not a cub sleeve hitch, so it's wider than the original. It's bolted to the cast iron rear end that I swapped in with the super pump and reduction gear. I have to make ears on the back to reach out to the bottom bolt holes on the side of the tranny. I will still be able to use the original hitch on the hitch plate as well by simply removing the sleeve hitch This is going to be a real work horse I hope. Here's what I got so far:

Ignore the oil drip on the cardboard underneath. I had a leak from the pickup tube that I since tightened up and resolved the leak.
