Anyone make a rear 2" receiver that will fit on the existing plate?
I know that eXtreme makes a rear 2" receiver that bolts to both the cast and aluminum rears but what I'm looking for is one that will bolt to the rear cover plate that the Cyclops have. I see they have one with a description of "This one fits the Category 0 - 3 Points above. Lower clearance on the mounting plate keeps it from hanging too far below the 3 point plate.". I'm thinking this is the one I want but want to make sure before I hit the buy button (going to have a hitch style salt spreader, for those curious minds). Pic below is of my Super but same style rear plate. Please tell me I'm making this more complicated than it needs to be, something I hear every now and then in life

Harbor freight has a receiver for an ATV that bolts to your draw bar and cost about twelve bucks. I have them on all my supers. Not sure if it would work for you. I use with ball to move trailers and such around.

You're making this more complicated than it needs to be... Why put a 2" receiver and all that on it when you can just get a 5/8" (i think that's the size) shaft ball and drop it right in the hole and snug it up? That's all I have and it works great for moving my trailer with a 2" ball around and other stuff. If I need to take it off to use something with a pin, i just take it off.

My guess is that Ryan wants to use a spreader something like this one.
I would get a piece of steel plate, use the existing hitch as a template to drill the 5 bolt holes then weld a receiver tube to it. You can get a receiver tube at any decent RV supply store or from Northern Tool.
