Hey that's a nice pick up, Lew! No, not a truck. I just removed the balance gears in my friends Landloard 7112. They are pretty cool garden tractor, and with the rear pan in which it tips back to inspect the rear end is cool, along with the auto motive front wheel bearings. He got two manuals with his, which covers this model.

I almost bought one of them in 92. If it wasn't the same model, it was close. But I bought my first and only new mower that year, my Cub Cadet 1330. And yes, I could put a battery in it tomorrow and cut grass...
Is it odd with the discharge shoot on the opposite side? Kinda throw off your rhythm I would think.

Nice tractor Lew!

Other brands are fun to find and flip. I just can't do it with Cubs. Every time I get one I think I can flip, I keep it.

Got my eye on one. Gonna pay bills in the morning and see if I should go get it or not. Lew price. You would drool..... it's nice.

I think the LH discharge is for left handed individuals, and yes I kept looking on the right side.

The 1330 is a cute little mower for Nancy. Musta took a loooooong time to cut with though.

Thank you boyz, apparently Simplicity did away with the drain on the bevel pinion gearbox cover, so I has to use the my big syringe to evacuate the old oil.
We have a lot of those syringes up here washing up on the beaches, so I had no problem finding one.

yeah, no. That's what I used to cut all the lawn with back in the old days. Little better than 7 hours.
Only tractor I could get on without help. Still is...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
