That's near my 'hood.

Got a guy coming to help work on the house Saturday, otherwise I'd go get those weights. My wife would be in for the golf cart though.

Ran over there this morning, all 3 tractors, both throwers, and the decks were all still there. Wheel weights that I wanted were gone, naturally.

The 1000 is definitely a parts machine. They were down to $150 but no takers. I'm thinking its a $50 machine.

The 125 is complete, not running. Asking $300. No interest that I saw.

The 1450 is real nice, but the air cleaner cover is off and I didn't see it. The left side panel was missing, but there was one by the 1000 (which I'm pretty sure is the 1450s). I don' t think its running, but not sure. It is a twin stick.....they were firm at $700. It had a 44" deck on it.

One NF QA42, in good condition. Was listed at $200 but at $100 today. Was a guy there looking at it. Chatted with him a little bit.

Lastly, a real nice QA42A, like I said I went for the weights, but looked it over, and it is much nicer than mine. The chute rotator is broken, but the side skid shoes and the shave plate were both very nice. It was also listed at $200, but $100 today. I took it, and the nice guy looking at the other one helped me load it. I felt pretty good with the buy, and when I got home and unloaded it noticed that ITS ALSO A 4 PADDLE ROTOR! SCORE!

So, a little bit of TLC and a swap of the drive pulley from my old beat up one and back in business this winter. Not sure if I'll keep my old one or sell it, but still a really good score today. Happy Happy Happy

I didn't see any of that stuff. It was raining and pretty muddy so all I really looked over was the Cub stuff and some of the tools, but they were picked over pretty well too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
