Best/worst PO fixes.
Let's hear about and see some of those PO fixes. My Dad was old school and liked "if it ain't broke don't fix it." and " That's good enough."

Pretty sure that 1/4 20 No blow fuse would carry just about enough current to smoke EVERYTHING on the tractor!!

I bought a tractor a while back and the deck had three tensioners on it and the belt was about a mile long because of it.

Those no blow fuses are real good at getting right to the problem when diagnosing electrical issues.
Just follow the magic smoke to the problem, no fooling around following wire colors for us that are color blind. Or making sure the connections are clean and "Goot N tight" No need for those silly meters either, as most times they are just a "fluke" And I prefer 1/4" copper tubing,as it is a better conductor. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
