1864 dual hydraulics
I was looking at putting a double valve on my 1864, I can get the valve and buy the Union or (fitting) to stack. I know there was a kit 759-3493a for this to be done but I'm sure thats not going to happen. If I can get the lines from a doner with the valve, do I just add lines to the doner lines to go to the front? Change has to be done to the upper steel line into the valve I'm adding on top, so what should be the next to do do this?

Don't need to change the steel lines, just persuade them.
Get your stud for 22.00 from cub cadet and go to a hydraulic shop for the o rings. The lines can be purchased on eBay. They won't be long enough so you'll have to make extensions... I think. I'd put in a tee to run a set to both the front and back anyway. Regular pioneer 1/4" female couplers are the way to go. Good luck

Why?
I have seen reference to this upgrade several times, but I'm unclear on the purpose. Is this so you can operate the rear 3-point independently of the mower deck? Is there a how-to available?

It's to add a set of ports to the front of the tractor so you can hook up a cylinder to make a snow plow power angle.

Can the mower deck lift be separated from the rear 3-pt lift? It's a PITA to drop the mower deck, hook up the rear blade to groom the drive, then reverse the process to mow again. I am just about to do just that :/

Use the screw on the rear plate to hold the deck all the way up. Raise deck, turn screw clockwise as far as it will go, then your deck will stay all the way up, and you can use the 3 point without having to take the deck off.

It's possible but it will have to be custom made, that was never an option from Cub. We have a member here that did it to his so maybe he will chime in.
