$50.. I hate you. I spent $400 on my last one then had to buy a $100 hose just to find out that the coil was plugged up and had 2 holes in it, the water leaked out before it got anywhere near the tip, cheapest coil I found would have cost me another $600 Still have the hose that has never had water thru it, but wound up scrapping the machine and got like $8 for it... (scrap is way down) cuz I was so PO'd and tired of pushing it around.

That one was supposed to replace my previous one which was an awesome machine, one that was a $500 and 3 hour road trip CL buy, that wound up getting stolen from my former winter storage location.
Even ones admitted to be "for parts" around here tend to bring at least $250 except when I'm the one that gets stuck with a lemon....

Similar to my old KEW that I bought new back in the 70's.
Boiler is rotted out now though but still works asa power washer w/the boiler bypassed.
I have a 0* tip for it that will cut through a board!!
A good 5HP motor would be worth $50 I would think!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
