Default Cub Cadet Quiz

What model Cub Cadet replaced the Original? Then after someone with the most points wins, we could have a spot light fourm for winners telling about their cub cadet in detail. Or a few questions for the week. You could do anything with this!

Johncub7172 I believe the replacement for for the Originals was the 70/100 series. And that's my final answer.

What model Cub lo-boy brought back the IH red paint? Trust me, I like the site the way it is too. But I think this is fun and gives us something to learn and share. But say if there were a winner, could we have their picture of their tractor on the Title page of OCC.? A small one. of course. Then have a set of questions the tractor owner must answer about the tractor. Or heck, just maybe some questions that will pop up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
