The whole point of his project is for him to take an old cub that he had sitting around and build something useful and unique out of it. Me and him both figured it would be best to ask in the pulling section due to the fact that most other sections are not related to using overdrive gears. His land is also completely flat so the speed/danger factor isn't that high for him. It's not going to be used on a race course; just to get from point A to point B quicker than with stock gears.

Anytime you make a lawn tractor go faster than 8MPH, safety is a factor. Good luck with your project.

i once made the mistake of putting my cub in neutral on the hill between my house and my neighbor, loose steering and no brakes and i've never been so happy to get off a cub in my life. i almost kissed the ground when i got off.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
